GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN

I was so upset when they tore down the Junior High School building that I decided to rebuild it.
Using a photo of the vacant lot from Google Earth and an photo I took before they demolished the work of art created a movie that looks like the school has been rebuilt.

BEFORE SAUCERS COULD FLY

the above photo is the closest I could come to representing what the dessert looked like with out taking a photo myself.

Does anyone know the origins of COFFEE BREAD DESERT? Before there was flying saucers my grandparents had lots of uses for sauce plates. First of all was uncder the coffee cup but my grandparents didn't use them this way. They poured their coffee into the saucer and sipped the coffee from there. The best use that I liked was what my family called coffee bread and it was simply a slice of bread on the saucer and brown sugar sprinkled on top and then coffee poured on top. I still do this at restaurants to the horror of my wife and waitress. It's less calories then regular deserts. I sprinkle on Splenda instead of sugar of course. HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS CLASSIC DESSERT?

CHANGES FOR SUBMITING COMMENTS

FRIENDS I'M SORRY THAT I HAD TO CHANGE THINGS.
I tried to make it as easy as possible for everyone to make comments, but as things go there is always some idiot with nothing else to do but screw with things. To that individual I say "get a life "

This is a simple High School blog that only wants to keep classmates and friends in contact.

So here is the changes....and they are mild.

Everything is the same except for 1 item added on the comments page and that is the addition of the WORD VERY item. A block below the comments box where you have to type in letters showing. This is so a computer by it's self can not do a comment.

After you do this you continue on as before...selecting Anonymous and that is it.

NOTE. Your comment will not show up right away as before...because I have to receive it and then approve it. This is called moderating , so no jerk like the lifeless one that messed around can not mess anymore.

There is no danger or security issue on your end at all, it's just that I don't want someone making comments that may be misleading or just plain stupid.

Please don't stop interacting ...I was so happy that people were starting to share.

IT'S EASY TO MAKE COMMENTS

It's as easy as 1,2,3,4 to make comments on any posting and interact with your classmates and friends.
NO NEED TO JOIN ANYTHING!
Just go to the latest posting or any post that you wish to comment on and follow the directions I have laid out on the photos above. You can click on these photos to enlarge them to see better. (like any on this blog)
The example above is of the '57 LUNCH BUNCH latest get together. You'll se there is already 9 comments on this page.
You may want to comment on another post that I made, like maybe the photos of Jr. High building or the Columbian building. My hope is people will jog someones memory and we will all get to share and enjoy these memories.

HOPING THAT WE GET SOME INTERACTION GOING ON THIS BLOG.

DID YOU KNOW THIS?

This is not about the school of Tiffin but maybe about us seniors who need all the help we can get. From time to time I may put something on here that I think might be helpful. If you have things like this let me know.

Someone sent this to me and I thought it might be a good idea to pass on. If I knew this before, I must have forgotten it. Anyway maybe it can help you? Let me know what you think.
