57 CARES

Tom Crabill's family asked for donations in lieu of flowers so I made a donation to THE AMERICAN LUNG ASSOCIATION.

I'm sure that by now you have all heard of the passing of one our classmates, Tom B. Crabill. I was surely surprised as I am sure many of you were. He was a popular guy and full of fun.

For me personally he helped me realize that I could also be a good student. Not many knew this but because he was a buddy and sat beside me in senior English class, I took his encouragement to heart and turned my class standing around. Thanks Tom.

There will be a memorial in Tiffin at a later date and I will then send our traditional Peace Lily plant or make a donation in the name of 57 Cares - Tiffin Columbian High School Class of 3957.

Carolyn was our classmate until about the 10th grade. Most of us will remember her from Junior High School. We remember her as quiet and a little shy, but friendly to all.
Some of us tried to get her to come to our reunions and luncheons.

We remember her as one of us from the class of 1957.

Traditional Peace Lily planter was sent to her home by  57 CARES  fund.

SEPT 4 LUNCHEON

Hello Sarj, and Joan,

We had a good turn out Friday to see Sarj Bloom  and Jan his sweet  wife at the Asian Grill.

Everyone had a good time visiting with them, 19 was present.

Sarj said this might  be the last time he gets to Tiffin Town , as his eyes have  gotten much worse. So sorry to hear this.

I passed around a paper for every one to know where our next luncheon will be held

I found us a different place in town, it's going to be Friday  Nov.6, at 11:30.

The place is Madison Street Tavern, there is plenty of parking and good food too.

Those attending the luncheon were as follow:

Well Jan and I finally made it to one of the luncheons.  We had a great time visiting with everyone. We stayed in Tiffin for a week and we miss it already.
