LUNCH BUNCH '57

Hello ,
We held our luncheon today  at Wall Street Bar and Grill.
Twenty five attended  Every one signed  a get well card for Rudy Karle.

He’s at St France home for therapy, he had a mini stroke several weeks ago, Now he has two   blood clots in his lungs their giving him blood thinners.

His Address is 182 St Francis Home Tiffin Oh 44883, If you’d like to send a card. Also  Bob Bauer is at home  recovering  from his lung surgery. Please  keep both in your prayers.

The ones  attending today was as follows .

SEPT 2 LUNCHEON

Hello Class mates and Friends,

Today we held our luncheon at the new Wall Street Café, which is owned by TU.

We decanted this luncheon to honor Carol Engel who did so much for the class of 57 .

And who touched so many lives of other people and we  didn’t know until she’s gone

She will be missed. RIP Carol.

22 attended todays luncheon.

They were as follows,

Herb Crum. Judy and Gene Zimmer. Vivian Blankenship, and daughter Val Hohman and her aid Jenni Gerschutz, Lucy Lather and sister Barb Egbert, William Dryfuse, Dava Spears. Joe Hartman.

They was talking about our next class reunion that will be Aug. 5, 2017.

Our next luncheon will be held Nov. 4, 2016 11;30 At the same place again they really enjoyed eating there.

Also  A  card was signed by all to send to Bob Bauer .Prayers are needed for him  as he has a spot on his other lung.

JULY LUNCHEON

Hello classmates and friends

We had our July 1 luncheon at Fort Ball Pizza. Thirteen attended. We will let you know where the next luncheon will be closer to September 2. We might go to the new Tiffin University Wall Street Pub and Grill. Viv will let you know.

57 CARES

Tom Crabill's family asked for donations in lieu of flowers so I made a donation to THE AMERICAN LUNG ASSOCIATION.

I'm sure that by now you have all heard of the passing of one our classmates, Tom B. Crabill. I was surely surprised as I am sure many of you were. He was a popular guy and full of fun.

For me personally he helped me realize that I could also be a good student. Not many knew this but because he was a buddy and sat beside me in senior English class, I took his encouragement to heart and turned my class standing around. Thanks Tom.

There will be a memorial in Tiffin at a later date and I will then send our traditional Peace Lily plant or make a donation in the name of 57 Cares - Tiffin Columbian High School Class of 3957.
